Grand Oaks Dental Care, a private practice in Ocala, FL is seeking a replacement for our associate who starts endo residency in July 2019.
Our ideal candidate wants to work in a non-corporate setting, loves people, loves to learn, and is ethically motivated above all else. We are looking for someone with at least one year experience out of school, with preferably interest and ability in endo and overall excellent clinical skills.
Our office opened in 2016 and has been growing rapidly, averaging 100 new patients a month. We do all facets of general dentistry with plenty of cosmetics, crown and bridge, root canals, and some removable and surgery. We are adding implant surgery and in-house clear aligner therapy to our mix of procedures early in 2019. We have a mix of fee for service and some select PPO plans- no HMO’s and no Medicaid.
Dr. Amir is the upcoming president of the Marion County Dental Association and is accredited as a courtesy clinical assistant professor at UFCD. He teaches dental students once a month at local free clinics with other mentor dentists, and accompanies UFCD on their yearly mission trip to Jamaica.
Ocala is a nice medium size town in the heart of horse country. It’s a great place to raise a family, and property is reasonably priced- a high standard of living is within reach. We are 30 minutes from Gainesville, an hour and 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, and an hour and 30 minutes from Tampa.

About Grand Oaks Dental Care
Grand Oaks Dental Care is a private practice owned by Simon Amir, DMD, a 2003 UFCD grad. Dr. Amir's focus in practice is providing precise, ethical dentistry in an environment more comfortable and accommodating than patients thought possible. We routinely get glowing reviews (check out our Google and Facebook reviews- all 5-stars except from one from a patient who went to my brother's office and thought it was ours!) from patients who cannot believe how great their experience is with us compared to previous dental experiences.
Dr. Amir is a frequent volunteer at UFCD and regularly accompanies them on mission trips. He is also co-director of the FreeDOM Clinic which runs local monthly free clinics which are attended by mentor dentists and dental students.
The practice is paperless and has the latest technologies and creature comforts- from CBCT, intra-oral scanner, intra-oral cameras, centrifuge for PRF, to TV's in ops at patient's feet and above their head, Bluetooth headphones, massaging treatment chairs, pillows and blankets.
